At Foundation CIMAS we provide technical assistance to community-based projects related to sustainable development. We believe that each community has the right to construct its own future in accordance with its own social and cultural values, for that reason we stimulate interdisciplinary and intercultural perspectives, with the recognition of different ways of living in the world. Therefore, we focus our efforts on projects that strengthen community participation and solidarity.
The research activities integrate epidemiological and anthropological perspectives, in support to local communities, in the search for alternative local development, stimulating strong community participation.
The support is provided to develop long term community plans, support to County Health Councyls and specific interventions in support to children in need, abandoned elderly people, micro enterprises
